Low Gear Power for Heavy Battles
The 20000PG is geared for jigging applications, delivering controlled, powerful winding when you’re locked in a brutal fight. Infinity Drive works with X-Ship to reduce internal resistance, keeping handle rotation smoother and more efficient under heavy load.Drag That Stays Consistent
The upgraded Heat Sink Drag blocks heat transfer to the spool, helping maintain steady drag performance during drawn-out battles. Combined with X-Tough Drag, you get excellent heat resistance and durability when fish are peeling serious line.Built for Harsh Saltwater Conditions
X-Protect and X-Shield technology provide an IPX8 water resistance rating, delivering superior protection against saltwater intrusion. Anti-rust ball bearings help ensure smooth operation session after session, even in tough offshore environments.Hagane Strength at Its Core
The aluminium Hagane Body acts as a rigid, super tough outer shell, while the cold forged Hagane Gear delivers long-lasting strength. Silent Drive refines the entire system, and the one-piece bail reduces friction for quicker, more efficient retrieves.Ready for Trophy Fish
Ideal for large tuna species, giant trevally, popping, stickbaiting and even trolling, the 20000PG pairs perfectly with a 7’–8’6” PE6–PE10 rod and 80–100lb line. FAQs
Is the Shimano Stella worth it?
Yes. The Stella SWC is Shimano’s premium saltwater reel, offering exceptionally smooth drag, high durability, and precise engineering. It’s ideal for serious fishos targeting large pelagic species and offshore game fish.
Are Shimano Stella reels left or right handed?
Shimano Stella reels are interchangeable — you can switch the handle from left to right hand depending on your preference. This makes them versatile for both left- and right-handed anglers.
What is the difference between Stella SWC and SWD?
The SWC is designed for casting applications, offering high-speed retrieve and smooth performance, while the SWD is optimized for deep-water trolling and heavy drag applications. Both share Shimano’s premium build quality, but the intended fishing style differs.
Why choose the 20000 PG?
The 20000 PG has 4.4:1 gear ratio, 25kg drag, and a braid capacity of 80lb/400yd, offering maximum torque and stopping power for extreme offshore fishing targeting massive tuna, marlin, and apex predators.
