How much weight can you put on roof racks?
Each vehicle has an individual rating for the maximum amount of weight that can be applied to the roof called a roof load rating. This weight rating is easily accessible and can be found in the owner's manual of your vehicle. Exceeding the limit is a recipe for disaster and can lead to serious safety issues.
