Shade Accessories and Parts
No matter what type of outdoor adventure tickles your fancy, the truth is that Aussies love a good bit of fresh air and a jaunt into the beloved outdoors. Whether enjoying the sun, surf, and sand down at the local beach, wetting a line at the river mouth, or kicking back by the campsite, each will be sure to put a smile on your dial. Australia is renowned for its amazing weather and scorching summer days, but that sweltering heat can take its toll if you don't have somewhere to escape from the elements. Gazebos have quickly become a must-have accessory for any family, but by throwing in some shade accessories, you can easily take your experience up a notch.
What are the different types of shade accessories?
Shade accessories and parts come in many different forms, each playing an important role to ensure your time in the great outdoors is enjoyable and safe. Check out some of the most popular accessories to help turn your gazebo into the shelter of your dreams.
Wall Kit – Available in both solid and mesh designs, adding walls to your gazebo will help give you more privacy and protection. Take a break from the sun, wind, and rain by getting your hands on a solid wall kit – constructed from 420D silver-coated polyester, these beauties won't let you down. Keep the pesky insects at bay by throwing up a set of mesh wall kits to keep the mozzies and flies away while still letting you enjoy the afternoon breeze.
Gazebo Weights & Sandbags – Both frame weights and sandbags are bang on ideas for any gazebo owners out there, and will help to keep your sun shade as solid as a rock. These are extremely effective, and whether filled with water or sand, will keep your gazebo secure in almost any weather condition.
Hub Tent – Turn your gazebo into a home away from home with the cleverly designed hub tent! Constructed using durable polyester that has a 2000mm water rating and UPF50+ sun protection, you're good to go no matter the weather. Fitting perfectly to most 3m gazebo frames and providing enough space to sleep 6 people, this is the perfect addition to any gazebo, and will ensure a comfortable camping experience.
Gazebo Bar Table – We all need somewhere to hang out at the end of a long day and sink a few coldies, and luckily with this bar table, you don't need to go without at the campsite! The perfect addition to any camping kit, these beauties fit like a glove against the wall of any 3m gazebo. Whether being used to hold the nectar of the Gods, a convenient camp kitchen, or a space saving dining table, the list of possibilities is practically endless.
Repair Kit – It’s always handy to pack a repair kit just in case! While we don't recommend setting up your gazebo in nasty weather, any minimal damage that’s received during its life may be simply mended with a repair kit.
Replacement Canopy Top – While the canopy tops included on our range of gazebos are built to last, in the event that something happens, you can rest assured that we have replacements ready to go. Built from the same materials as the original, it's made with UV-coated polyester and is silver lined to keep you cool from the sun and dry from the rain!
Do I need sandbags or frame weights for my gazebo?
Something that the BCFing experts highly recommend and will ensure your gazebo stays safe and secure are sandbags and gazebo weights – these are a must have. Preventing the risk of injuries to you and your loved ones while also minimising damage to the gazebo, these (in partnership with guy ropes and tent pegs) will make your shelter more secure. Happy days!
