In our Rigged for Adventure series, we're transforming a dual cab ute tub into a practical, versatile setup built for camping, touring and weekends away.
Across three episodes, we'll take you through the fit-out from start to finish, covering storage and organisation, 12V power, solar and practical touring upgrades using gear from the XTM range.
Whether you're fitting out an empty ute canopy or looking for ideas to make your current setup more functional, watch the series below to pick up some handy DIY installation tips for your own rig.
Episode 1: Building the Foundation
A good touring setup starts with getting the basics right.
In Episode 1, we start with an empty ute canopy and build the foundations of a more functional and organised touring setup.
We install an XTM modular drawer system, drawer fridge, wing kit, sensor lighting and 12V control box, while planning the layout for the full power system to come.
Along the way, we look at how to make better use of available space to keep our camping gear organised and accessible.
