All reels need to be serviced at least 4 times a year. This is where the Teflon Plus Reel Lube comes in handy. After each time you use your fishing gear you, will need to lightly wash down your reels with freshwater. The reel oil should be used at least 4-6 times a year.
Take off the lid and apply a few drops to the reel's moving parts, eg the gears, shafts and ball bearings. You could also apply the oil to the bail arm and reel handle. The 30ml plastic bottle is an ideal size to store in your tackle box. Nothing is worse than arriving at your fishing destination to find that your reel has seized: a few drops of oil applied occasionally will spare the heartache!
