If you are after a lure that has strength, durability and fish-catching ability, try the Halco Laser Pro X Deep Diver. The outer body has extra secure hook anchoring and towing points that are built-in as an integral part of the lure body. They come with a bulletproof bib securing system, that provides added strength and ensures faultless swimming performance at high and low speeds, plus they can dive to depths of 6 metres.
This lure can be trolled over a wide speed band, between 3 to 11 knots, however its optimum speed for trolling for pelagics is around 6.5 knots. The 47-gram, floating, buoyant Halco Laser Pro X, with its 3xx, 4/0 Mustad trebles, is ideal for pelagics and reef fish. It can be trolled at between 10-50 metres from the boat.
Try trolling a couple of lures of different colours to give the fish more to look at! A great technique is to troll the lures at different distances from the boat, so that when you are turning, the lure that is out the most will cross over the closer lure. A must in any serious anglers tackle box!
