The Shimano SLX BFS 25 XG R is the new form of the popular SLX baitcaster, with greatly improved casting performance. This Bait Finesse System (BFS) reel is perfect for handling ultra-lightweight lures with precision control in tight corners. The new ultra-light and super-shallow duralumin spool allows you to cast the lightest lure weights with a low trajectory for fantastic accuracy.
Of course it has all the features you expect from Shimano. X Ship for incredible gear durability, and a Hagane body for high rigidity and impact resistance, virtually eliminating body flexing when you’re fishing a fish. The FTB centrifugal magnetic braking system resists backlash and makes repeated long or short casts smooth as butter.
The reel comes in right or left handed models to suit your preference, and of course has the Shimano 10 year warranty. Perfect for BFS work in salt or freshwater.
