These Squid Jigs are made from quality components, with colours carefully selected to enhance your fishing experience when targeting squid. The way a squid jig works is by imitating the likeness of a prawn, right down to the way a prawn swims when it is retreating from danger. Squid jigs are generally cast and retrieved using a fishing or egi rod. There are a number of different squid jig sizes available, with the size being represented by the length of the jig, between the "eye" of the jig and the end of the "body" in inches. They come in different coloration with each of them suiting the shade of water you are fishing in. The 2.5 is a great option for shallow water and when the cephalopods are searching for smaller bait sources. Long casts, a slow lift-and-sink retrieve will have interest from local squid in no time!
