Nomad Live Ops Sumo Shrimp Pre-Rigged Soft Plastic Lure 5in Fried Banana

The Nomad Live Ops Sumo Shrimp is a fully rigged, pre-weighted prawn lure purpose-built for one thing - going toe-to-toe with trophy fish like barramundi, mangrove jack, and jewfish. This isn’t just another shrimp pattern. It’s an advanced strike system packed into a soft plastic body, engineered to dominate in tough conditions and brutal hook-ups.

Straight out of the pack, the Sumo Shrimp is ready to fish—rigged with a breakaway 6/0 BKK Haku top hook and a belly-mounted #1 BKK Viper treble, both connected to an internal wire-through harness that runs from nose to tail. The breakaway design allows the top hook to stay upright during the retrieve, then swing free when a fish hits, reducing leverage and dramatically increasing your landing rate. Inside are 2 chambers for loading Tungsten Adjusta-Balls for full control over the sink rate and balance (Adjusta-Balls not included).

The realism doesn’t stop at action. The Sumo Shrimp’s lifelike jointed body, fluttering legs, and profile create instant recognition from predatory fish, while its Titan-RX Elastomer body is built to survive repeated strikes and reef beatdowns. On the inside, you’ll find a scent injection port and pre-loaded shrimp scent, which not only triggers feeding response but also helps produce a micro bubble trail underwater-boosting visibility on forward-facing sonar like LiveScope. Add in Reactor UV + Glow colour tech and you’ve got a prawn that shines in dirty water, low light, and deep structure zones.

Whether you’re slow rolling it through open water, twitching near snags, or dropping it into creek mouths on the turn of the tide, the Sumo Shrimp brings a complete suite of fish-catching tech into a package that’s made to take hits and come back swinging.
