The lure darts from side to side when you wind it across the surface, making it look like an injured baitfish. You can work it with a fast retrieve, or use a twitching rod tip action to make it bounce across the surface. If you do, the Dartwing design creates great surface disturbance and side-to-side action. Took this bad boy to the cape on a reef fishing trip. Turned on the goods for GT, Spanish mackerel. Swims well with different retrieval methods. Even trolls well.
