The oxygen depletion sensor detects low oxygen levels and switches the unit off, while the flame failure safety system will shut off the gas if the flame goes out. The pressure sensing system shut off system kicks into gear if the pressure before too high, the cartdige will safely release, and finally, gas supply stops if the unit is accidentally knocked over thanks to the tip over switch.
