The Garmin GT17M-THF 20-degree CHIRP transducer is engineered for anglers and cruisers seeking high-performance sonar with minimal drag. This flush-mounted, thru-hull transducer uses a 1 kW mid-band CHIRP frequency range of 80–165 kHz to deliver crisp fish arches, precise bottom tracking and excellent structure definition. Capable of reaching depths of up to 2,400 feet in freshwater, it’s ideal for serious offshore and deepwater applications.
The 20-degree tilt version is designed to suit hulls with greater deadrise, ensuring the transducer sits correctly for optimal sonar performance. With beamwidths ranging from 9 to 18 degrees, fast-response temperature sensing, and Garmin’s Auto-ID plug-and-play technology, installation and setup are straightforward.
