The 300mm Anchor Retrieval System often referred to as an "anchor ball" makes retrieving your anchor a much easier task. No one really enjoys having to deploy or retrieve an anchor (unless you have an anchor winch), but with the use of this retrieval system you won't be as hesitant to pull up your anchor and move. The Anchor Retrieval System is comprised of a solid, stainless-steel, welded bull ring attached to a short rope that goes through the float ball. Once placed on your anchor rope you simply pay out your anchor as usual and then throw the ball with the bullring attached to your anchor rope overboard and tie off the anchor as normal. When the time comes to retrieve your anchor, simply ensure that the rope and ball are clear of the hull and motor, and start motoring forward. Once you know the ball and rope are well clear of the motor and propeller, you accelerate forward and the force of the water against the ball will push it down the rope till it reaches the chain. Once it gets to the chain, the ring will grab into a chain link and float the rope, chain and anchor onto the surface so you can just pull it in without the strain of doing it by hand. A simple, yet incredibly efficient and easy way to retrieve your anchor that will definitely make your next fishing trip more enjoyable.
