I'll tell you what, there are a few better things than hitting the road with your house and just seeing where the adventure will take you - an extra night here or a little detour there, they're all part of the fun when you've got a caravan in tow. So, today we're going to have a quick little stickybeak at all these awesome accessories to make sure your next trip is a cracker.
The first cab off the rank is the Wanderer Dual View Adjustable Towing Mirror. Now, they fit onto just about any size side mirror and greatly improve the visibility of your van from the driver's seat. They're a great safety tool and in some states are actually a requirement by law for a large trailer.
Once you arrive at your spot, the first point of call is getting your sleeping station level - the last thing you want to do is roll out of bed in the middle of the night or have your coldies slide straight off the table. For all things levelling, we've got some nifty bits of kit including a cross-check level and the Wanderer levellers. Both are very easy to use: simply drive forward or reverse onto the levellers to flatten out the van, then use the cross-check level just to see how far off you were. Once the bubbles are centred, it’s flat as a tack.
With the van all nice and level, it's time to get the place set up in preparation for happy hour. For those vertically challenged amongst us, top shelves, clotheslines and even setting up awnings may seem like an unreachable land of opportunity, but it’s nothing the Folding Stool can't fix. These guys are rated to 200 kilos and fold down to practically nothing, so you'll never have to worry what the weather's like up there again (it's the same).
Once your trip is all done and dusted and you've packed away your pride and joy, make sure your van doesn't turn into a two and a half-ton wrecking ball and go roaring down your driveway. Grab yourself some Wanderer Plastic Chocks, chuck one under each wheel and make sure your van doesn't budge an inch.
So, before your next adventure, head into BCF and check out these fantastic bits of kit. You'll wonder how you ever went away without them.
