Ideal for summer adventuring, this Mini Legionnaire Hat boasts the ultimate sun safety features such as a UPF 50+ sun protection rating, a rear neck flap for extra coverage, and a curved brim to keep the rays off your little one's face. It's designed to be versatile and practical, the nylon fabric fast drying when things get wet, and it includes a moisture-wicking sweatband for extra comfort when getting active in hot conditions. For a snug and secure fit, it has gathered elastic at the back of the head to create a comfy feel for all-day wear.

Tested and rated in accordance with the AS4399:2020 standard. The UPF rating applies only to the area of skin covered. Protection may be reduced if the material is wet, stretched or from the effects of normal wear or exposure to chemicals. For best sun protection use hats, clothing that provides maximum skin coverage, sunglasses, sunscreen and shade. Hats that shade the face, head, ears and neck provide optimal protection.

What’s not covered?

General wear and tear, age-related material breakdown, DIY mods, and damage from incorrect use, storage, or accidents. Basically, if the issue’s outside of how the product was designed to be used, it won’t be covered.

How to make a claim

All warranty claims need to be assessed in person, and the gear must be clean. You can drop your Macpac item into any BCF or Macpac store, or send it directly to the repairs team:
