The Bomber lure is a lure that you will find in the tackle boxes of many anglers who fish in the northern parts of Australia. Whether you are casting or trolling this brilliant lure in the estuaries or offshore, you would be in with a good chance of hooking a mackerel, tuna, trevally, queen fish or dolphin fish amongst snags or coral bommies.
The southern anglers have not been left out, as they too will be in with a chance of tangling with a tailor, salmon, bonito, kingfish, tuna and dusky flathead, while working the mangroves, rock walls and drop-offs that are found in the south.
Whether fishing from the shore or out of a boat, the lure will dive to around 2-3 feet, and if trolling is your scene, somewhere between 4-8 feet, depending on the line class you are using at the time.

Bombing up a storm

Goes well, the rattle in them is quite loud, seems to get the fish turning pretty quick with a few violent tugs before starting the chase wind. Been using it on the salt but think I’ll give it a whirl in the lakes for trout and salmon as well. Finding the paint comes off these pretty quick with strikes is my only complaint. Would definitely be better if they had another epoxy coat or the likes on after the paint to make them last a bit longer
