• Line – Fishing line comes in two varieties braid and monofilament (mono). Each has its own benefits when used on a baitcaster. Mono is great for beginners as it is simple and less prone to birds' nests (line tangles). Braid is much thinner and more responsive for better sensitivity and maximum control.
