Although the radio is ultra compact, it still offers a full 5W power output which is the maximum legal limit for non-licenced use in Australia. The unit also offers 80 narrowband channels and the channel scan feature allows you to scan through these channels with ease. Duplex capability is built in to extend the range of the unit on emergency bands.
