Frequently Asked Questions

Does BCF offer gas bottle refills?

Yes, in over 130 BCF stores you can bring along your gas cylinder and purchase a refill. BCF Coburg is only able to offer a swap ‘n go service. BCF Greenslopes and BCF Oxenford stores offer a swap ‘n go service, as well as being able to refill bottles.

Can you refill swap and go bottles?

All metal gas bottles can be refilled in their 10-year cycle. In Australia, gas bottles must be tested every 10 years. We accept all bottle brands for refilling.

What is the average time it takes to refill a gas bottle?

Roughly 10 minutes or so. Refilling can be slower if your main bottle is low, and the outside temperature plays a role in length of time to refill.
