The more I use it, the more I like it.

Good solid torch, I like the 3 light levels + flash, I like the lanyard, I use it to loop around belt loop to keep it on me should it fall out of pocket, I like the switch button safety cover, I like the USB charging, on the removable battery with its charging & charged indicators, comfortable in the hand, with no heat transfer back to the hand, enough light for any purpose.

Impressive distance & brightness

I use this torch to look for wildlife at night when on holidays- fish etc in murky rivers, animals in trees, frogs- and also around the house. It can cover some serious distance. In order for it to do this, the beam is fairly concentrated, so if you’re looking for something to light up a larger area, this isn’t the right torch. It has 4 settings in this order- high, med, low, super intense. If you have it on the last setting it will get quite hot over time- almost too hot to comfortably hold- so not intended for extended use on this boosted setting. It will also drain your battery much faster. It’s a great function though to use just when you need it. To charge the battery you have to remove it from the torch and plug the cord directly into the battery. I find the battery life to be good, especially if only using the first three intensity settings. It seems holds charge well when not in use. I would definitely recommend this torch if you want something with intense brightness that can cover long distances. Great for outdoors at night. If you need just an everyday household torch or something with a bit more spread, I would say try something else as there are heaps of cheaper options that will work better/just as well
