The Blueline Automatic Float Switch is an automatic bilge pump switch that is activated by a float mechanism. If for any reason your boat should leak, the water will raise the float and activate the pump. With the versatility to be used with either 12V, 24V, or even 36V systems and to work with pumps up to a massive 20 Amp draw and featuring ignition protection, this float switch is ideal for any boat that has a bilge pump. A reliable switch.

These units have proven themselves to be reliable in more than one of my vessels over the years. My only issue is they need to come up further than I like, meaning more water in the hull before they activate the pump.
