The Oar Gee Lil Ripper 4cm hard-body is the smallest lure in the Oar Gee range. Initially designed for trout, it has also become the lure of choice for bream fishing, combining great casting abilities, plenty of strength, action and buoyancy.
Even though this is a shallow diving lure at around 1.5 metres, it is a great lure to tie behind a set of cow bells, lead line, or put on a down-rigger so that you can get it down to where the fish are. The Little Ripper is also capable of swimming in the fasted flowing waters of a mountain stream or the still bream holding waters of our estuarine systems.
The Lil Ripper comes standard with VMC 9632BZ size-8 trebles and 1H stainless steel split rings, and, as with all Oar-Gee Lures, best results are achieved when using a loop knot, although a small clip without the swivel will achieve the same results.
