The 190mm Halco Laser Pro has the latest in lure technology, incorporating strength, durability and fish-catching ability. The outer body has extra-secure hook anchoring, and towing points that are built-in as an integral part of the lure body. They come with a bulletproof bib securing system that provides added strength, and ensures faultless swimming performance at high and low speeds.
This lure can be trolled over a wide speed band, between 3-11 knots, however its optimum speed for trolling for pelagics is around 6.5 knots. The 47-gram, floating, buoyant Halco Laser, with its 3xx, 4/0 Mustad trebles that can be worked down to 7 metres, can be trolled at between 10-50 metres from the boat. About 25 metres is normal.
Try trolling a couple of lures of different colours to give the fish more to look at! A great technique is to troll the lures at different distance from the boat, so that when you are turning, the lure that is out the further, will cross over the closer lure.
Halco Laser Pro lures are precision-built for maximum fish-catching ability.
