Gear up for watersports fun at BCF Penrith and head to the local wakepark or take your boat out on the Nepean River to chase some bass. Stocking a variety of SUPs, kneeboards, skis and tow tubes, you can hit the water for a family fun day out all year round. When the bass aren’t biting in the Nepean River, perhaps head out to Lake Lyell for some trout or the harbour for kingfish and flathead. To help with your catch, pick up a new sounder from Garmin or Lowrance and remember to stay safe with a personal floatation device. Lures such as the Daiwa Bait Junkie range or cicada surface lures are also sure to catch the attention of some feeding fish.

Not a fan of being on the water? BCF Penrith is your last pit stop before the Blue Mountains so be sure to grab all your river fishing essentials, a sleeping bag for those colder nights and some hiking boots to get out and explore. If you’ve got room in the vehicle alongside your XTM swag or Wanderer family tent, a gazebo with wall attachments and a portable camping stove or Weber BBQ is sure to enhance your camping experience.
