Heading out on a hiking trip or a bushwalking expedition and need to pack light? BCF have a range of hiking and 4WD mats that are self inflating and compact. No need to carry bulky matresses or a pump. Self inflating mats are like air mattresses that are filled with air to support those sleeping on it. The difference however is when using self inflating mats they are filled with closed cell foam which expands, drawing air into the mat, once the valve is open. 4WD mats are based on the same principle although they are much thicker, approximately 10cm compared to 2.5cm for the hiking mats. Making them more comfortable for campers who have more room to carry their gear.
